Once XCBA Cargo Office has been started, the following screen picture will appear:
Select File - New - Draft Survey

There are 2 methods of calculation - MANUAL and AUTO.
To calculate AUTO You must first create Your ship (fill in 2 tables – general data and hydrostatic data).
To calculate MANUAL You must insert all information manually.
Manual Calculations.
Select Ship: "Manual_Calculations".
Select Condition: Loading or Discharging.
If your ship has a list ( 3 or more degrees) check "Apply List Correction".
"Enter Perpendicular Corrections Manually" has no effect in Manual Calculations.
The following screen picture will appear:
Enter Voyage Ship and Cargo Particulars.
Navigate to the next page (navigation buttons are on the right(below x) and left corners of the page << >>).
Page Initial Survey.
Fill in Draft Fwd, Aft and Midships;
Fill in Perpendicular Corrections;
Fill in Density, L.B.P. and Light Ship - required !
Fill in Ship's Stores.
Hit F5 (Or select Ship - Calculate).
You will get Mean Of Mean Draft, Mean Of Mean Draft + 0.5, Mean Of Mean Draft - 0.5.
From Hydrostatic Table select Displacement, LCF, TPC and MCTC.
Be careful with MCTC: in some tables MCTC in [tm/m] in other [tm/cm] – You must insert in [tm/cm].
Example: Table MCTC = 4986.665 tm/m, divide by 100 and insert 49.86665.
Hit F5.
You will get Constant in case of loading or Total Cargo (in case of discharging).
Next Page - Final Survey
Fill everything as in Initial Survey and Hit F5.
You will get Total Cargo loaded/discharged to/from your ship.
Now you can save/print/export your voyage.
Auto Calculations.
First you must create a ship.
Select Ship - Create Ship.
Fill in all fields.
Fill in at least 35 rows with Draft, Displacement..... in any order (You can insert less rows and later add more).
Insert minimal and maximal available draft (i.e. 1,0 m or less and MAX draft 15-20 m) from Your Hydrostatic Table.
Press Help button for help:
Press Create button.
Your first ship will be created, now you can select your ship and perform calculations.
Auto Calculations.
Select File - New - Draft Survey
Enter Voyage, Ship and Cargo Particulars.
Fill everything as in Initial Survey and Hit F5.
Fill everything as in Final Survey and Hit F5.
For Auto Calculations there are additional tables:
Select - Show - Particulars Table
Here you can update partuculars of your ship.
Select - Show - Hydrostatic Table
Here you can insert/delete/change any row.
Select - Show - Manager
Here you can view all ships and draft surveyes.
You can delete any ship or daraft survey.
